Protecting the environment

The rules and regulations are designed to ensure the pristine canal environment is protected, conflict is avoided between activities on the canal and the Resource Consent conditions are met.

It is important that all owners ensure their jetty and boat ramp meet the specific design regulations prior to installation and that written approval is received from MCCML or their representative. Click here for more information
